An engagement session is a great way to solidify your choice of photographer to be a part of your wedding day. Throughout your engagement session, you have a chance to get to know your photographer, listen to their prompts and direction and see are someone who you would love to have as a part of your wedding.

Most couples have never had professional photos taken before we meet. They may have had a quick snap taken of them at a friend or loved one’s wedding in passing, but never a formalised professional photo session. Most commonly also, I hear “We don’t know how to be in front of the camera, we’re pretty awkward”, followed by informing me of the fact that this is their first photos of them taken not on their phone. So, it goes without saying then, that this is a pretty great way to get comfortable with having a camera, not a phone in front of you with images being taken by somewhat of a stranger, prior to your wedding day. They do say, practice makes perfect, right?
